Structure Wiring Structured wiring or Future Proof wiring is a generic term used to describe several different types of residential wiring products. These products all have the same basic purpose, to distribute today's technology with the highest clarity possible while providing the capacity to handle tomorrow's technology. Signal types range from telephone, cablevision and fax to whole home video, internet, and computer networks. Building a new house or conducting a major renovation, provides an ideal time to consider installing at least a basic structured wiring package. Installation costs are significantly reduced when your walls are open (i.e. before the drywall is installed).
